BIPC Jumpstart Programme: £75,000 of grants, advice and tools to help new local businesses

Jumpstart is a unique programme offering grants, resources and support designed to help start-up businesses get set and grow. It aims to help start-up and pre-start businesses move forward with confidence, while also acknowledging that funding is often crucial to these businesses.

The programme is open to entrepreneurs and start-up business owners already operating, or planning to start, a business based in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. There are no restrictions on the types of business that can apply, but applicants must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria and attend three Jumpstart live support sessions before making their application.

Up to 24 winners will be chosen and awarded grants of between £10k and £1k, which can be used for capital expenditure.

Applications close on 1st December. A shortlist will be announced in January, then narrowed down a list of finalists who will be invited to pitch to the Jumpstart judges at an event in February.  The names of the overall winners will be announced at a celebration event in early March.
