BAnC Services was set up in 2021 to provide stress-free financial management and compliance services to charities, individuals, and small businesses and to make a social impact.
The Founder and CEO of BAnC Services, Aishat Idris said, “At the core of what we do is a passion to support economically disadvantaged women to be the best they want for themselves.” Aishat can often be found helping in schools with mock interviews and offering money matter drop-in sessions for some local-based women and family charities.”
BAnC Services turns Two!
Glasses were raised to toast BAnC Services during an anniversary event to mark its second-year anniversary. It was an intimate event held on 27 September 2023 and attended by about 25 supporters made up of business coaches, mentors, friends, family, and other business owners. Speeches, a quiz, poems, and networking were some of the activities enjoyed by attendees during the event. They described it as “amazing”, “excellent”, “enjoyable”.
Money Solutions for Single Mums
Their CEO’s book “Money Solutions for Single Mums” was launched at the anniversary event! Aishat describes the book as a great resource for everyone which “offers timeless financial tips designed to navigate diverse monetary challenges”. Grab your own copy or one for that single mum in your life (we all know one).
Money Matters Drop-In
During the autumn/winter months, BAnC Services has collaborated with the Business and IP Centre Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to run drop-in sessions at Peterborough Central Library. The sessions are open to families and small business owners/start-ups to discuss personal and business finances. There are a few more sessions upcoming, so if you have any burning money questions, drop by for a no-fee, no-appointment chat!
Top Tax Tip
As it is tax season, BAnC Services offers this tip to individuals filing tax returns themselves: to avoid the risk of a fine later down the line, make sure expenses deducted from income are only those that are “wholly and exclusively” for business.
BAnC Services will be launching a podcast and their YouTube channel in 2024. They aim to continue growing their social impact in the community.
